Guided FLOAT TRIPS

Full day guided trips are all inclusive including bait and equipment.

Hurst Fishing Service provides northwest Arkansas the best class adventure fishing.On single day float trips, where our guests prefer to come in each night and stay in cabins or motels instead of camping out, we have a flat-rate price per person per day, which includes boat, guide, motor, chairs, cushions, thermos water jugs, ice box, anchor, fish net, paddles, cold drinks, and lunch.

Over-Night Camping Trips

Everything included. By everything we mean boats, fishing guides, rod, reel, motors, chairs, life preservers, cushions, tents, tarpaulins, thermos water jugs, lanterns, ice boxes, individual sleeping bags, linens, complete cooking and serving equipment, and meals of all you can eat well prepared, great-tasting foods. Just sit back and relax while our camp cook prepares your meal. Our menu includes steaks, chicken, chops, and the best in trimmings. Special menus can be arranged upon request.

*Prices include bait (but not lures), tackle, and taxes. Price also includes a lunch of fried chicken or deli sandwich on all full day trips.

Sight-Seeing Trips

For those who may just prefer to see the beautiful sights of the Arkansas White River, and enjoy lunch along the way, we offer single day sight-seeing tours. Enjoy towering bluffs, lush green hardwood forests, open pasture, and the riverside Ozark wildlife. Learn about the fascinating boom and bust of Cotter, one of the most notorious rail towns of railroading history. Experience all of this from the comfort of our private, guided tour boats. No lines, no crowds! Up to six people can go in a single boat for sight-seeing tours.

Cook-Outs

A cook-out, also called a shore lunch, is a prepared noon meal served on the river bank. At noon shore lunches we serve the same high quality foods we prepare for our overnight camp trip guests. If you also want your morning's catch cooked for lunch just ask the cook. There is an extra charge for shore lunch cook-outs and price will depend on the number of people in your group. If you want to just have your fish cooked for lunch to go with the box lunch included in your trip price, tell your guide. He'll pull up on shore and cook your trout for you.

EQUIPMENT

Our equipment is complete, clean,  and well maintained. Guided trips include all equipment. Hats and sunscreen are recommended. All boats are 20-foot flat-bottom river boats designed to ride the waters in maximum safety. On all float trips that we outfit completely, our flat rate price includes a motor on each boat as standard equipment. Wool shirts and a jacket are recommended for early mornings and at night, even during July and August.

Make Reservations

The fishing season is open all year on all Arkansas White River game fish species. However, because of weather conditions, we outfit overnight and day trips starting March 1, to around November 1.

We like for you to make your reservations as far in advance as possible. We can take care of you better if we know your wishes well in advance of your arrival. In making reservations always let us know how many persons will be in your party, the number of days you wish to float, and whether you want to camp out, take single day trips, or have a scenic tour of the White River. If you have been here before, and prefer the services of a certain guide, ask for him and he will be assigned to you if possible. Such requests always encourage the guides, and we are glad to give you their service. A deposit of half the amount of your booked trip is required to confirm your reservation. Your deposit will be happily be refunded with a 14-day notice of cancellation.  If it is less than 5 days till we will need to charge full price.
